Orchid

Orchids are now very common houseplants in Swedish homes, especially the so-called bridal orchid, Phalaenopsis. 
The orchid family is one of the most species-rich flowers with about 800 species and about 30,000 species 
- but in Sweden, only 44 species have been found that are distributed among 23 genera.
